Seventh Generation Disinfecting Wipes Review

Last week I received a package of household products made by Seventh Generation in the mail, in exchange for my review of these products. I was not paid to provide this product review.

Here is my Seventh Generation Disinfecting Wipes Review. These are household cleaning wipes and there was only one wipe in this sample pack, it was Lemongrass & Thyme scent. What disappointed me most about these wipes is the EWG rating. These are rated grade D by EWG. I know that Lysol Wipes are far worse, and these are a more natural version, however I feel they could have tried to include healthier ingredients. The wipe was used for spot-cleaning my bathroom, and didn't leave any residue behind on the counter or tap surface. Thymol oil is the disinfecting ingredient of these wipes, ad even though it is only 0.05% of the product ingredient it packs a punch. Seventh Generation claims that these wipes kill Influenza A virus thanks to this botanical ingredient. If these wipes do kills 99.99% of germs using Thymol Oil then maybe they are worth the trade off of a Grade D rating, however I prefer to use something a little less toxic for everyday cleaning around my home.
